Bones, Season 1, Episode 3

Still on THE QUEST to watch every episode of Bones in order. Although I must admit it is rather slow going. With work and school it is sometimes difficult to find time to watch TV without wanting to fall asleep. Then again, I do like sleep. The third episode from season one of Bones is "A Boy in the Tree." This one is definitely not one of my favorite episodes. A young boy is found hanging from a tree on the grounds of an extremely exclusive private school. The school administrators insist that it was suicide and try to cover the murder of the boy. Booth is against all private schools so he imediately thinks it is a murder investigation. As usual Brennan goes through the fact methodically until she finds proof that the boy was really murdered.

Current season of Bones

Bones is currently in its 5th season and it still going strong. It has even been renewed until the end of the 6th season. Read more about the fifth season of Bones.
The most exciting thing about this season of Bones is that Emily Deschanel's sister, Zooey Deschanel, will be a guest star on the the show to celebrate the 100th episode of the show. It will air December 10, 2009. Read more about Zooey Deschanel on Bones. The episode is called "The Goop on the Girl" and is directed by David Boreanaz. In the episode Zooey Deschanel plays Margaret Whitesell a distance cousin of Dr. Brennan.

Bones, Season 1, Episode 2

I have started a new adventure. I plan to watch every episode of Bones, starting from the beginning. I watched the first episode the other night and last night I watch episode 2, "The Man in the SUV." The episode starts with a SUV exploding right outside of a cafe. Several civilians are dead, including the driver of the SUV. Brennan's job is to confirm the driver's identity as the leader of the Arab-American Friendship League. Homeland Security is hopping that it will be anyone else, but it is him and the authorities immediately suspect that he is a terrorist. Brennan discovers that the man was a murdered and they have to work quickly to find his killer before he kills more innocent people.

This episode was one of the more disgusting ones. The body has to peeled off of the SUV, literally. I think the gross out factor is one of the few things that I don't like about Bones. There are so many scenes in the show where you are forced to look away from the scene, or else be totally grossed out. Peeling a beef jerky body off of a car, is one of those moments. Overall, it was a good episode, but definitely not my favorite.

Bones Season 1, Episode 1

Today, a lovely little gift arrived for me in the mail. It was Bones season 1, disk 1. Oh how I love thee Netflix. I decided that since I didn't start watching Bones until the middle of last season, I would start watching it from the very beginning. And it is definitely working for me. I got to watch the pilot episode in all its glory. If you want to watch Bones from the very beginning, you can watch the Bones TV Show online.

The pilot episode of Bones originally aired on September 13, 2005. It featured the forensic anthropologist Dr. Temperance 'Bones' Brennan of the Jeffersonian and FBI Special Agent Seeley Booth. Booth is in need of Dr. Brennan's expertise when a decomposed body is found in a pond at a nearly cemetery. She agrees to help, but only if she is made a full partner on the case.

This episode does a good job of setting up the relationship between Booth and Brennan that will follow throughout the series. You can already feel the chemistry that exists between the two characters. And when Brennan asks for advice from Angela, you know that this show is going to be different than any of the other crime shows out there. It creates a relationship between the girls that goes beyond work.

There are a lot of crime show dramas out there including NCIS, NCIS LA, CSI Miami and other shows. If you want to find out more, read this blog about TV Series Episodes. Personally I have two favorite shows, one is Bones and the other is NCIS. Both of the shows make you fall for the characters on the screen. You can't help but root for all of the characters and if anything happens to them, you just want to cry. If that isn't good TV, I don't know what is.
